Kogi: APC canvasses support for Audu.

The All Progressives Congress, Cross River state chapter, has urged the people of Kogi to vote massively for the candidate of the party, Abubakar Audu in the November 21 election. In a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Mens Ikpeme, the party charged the good people of Kogi to tow the wind of change that is blowing across the nation by electing Audu, as the next governor of the state.

KANO – Scores were feared dead in Kano, Wednesday, from twin blasts at the heart of GSM market, Nassarawa GRA.

Subsidy gets 88 per cent of N465bn supplementary budget.

Abuja – The Senate on Wednesday received request from President Muhammadu Buhari for the approval of N465.64 billion Supplementary Budget for government activities in remaining part of 2015. Out of the amount, subsidy payment on supply of petrol was allocated N413.36 billion, representing 88 per cent of the total proposed supplementary budget.

We have no reason to buy weapons outside Nigeria – Onu.

The Minister who spoke during his inaugural meeting with the directors and heads in the ministry, said Science and Tech Ministry is at the centre of three major promises of security; job creation and fight against corruption, which were made by the new APC administration.
